If you wish to use the database manager installed within your control panel, your database password and control panel password must be the same. If you prefer to keep the passwords different, you may access the database through a script, a remote program, or by installing PHPmyAdmin directly into your account.
To regain access to the control panel database manager, change your password back to the one that matches the control panel.
