How do I manage my e-mail accounts in cPanel?

For most basic features for your email account – checking your email on the server, creating or deleting new accounts, and finding the settings to input into your client (Outlook, Mail app, etc.) – you can visit the Email Accounts page, which is found at the top of your cPanel home page under the blue EMAILS tab.

This page will show a list of your current email addresses set up in cPanel, any restrictions in place, the amount of disk space used by each account, and options for each account on the right side. These options include:

  • Check Email – a link to the WebMail service, which you can use to check or send emails directly on the server without needing to use a mail client like Outlook, Thunderbird, or your mobile Mail app.
  • Manage – You can enter a new email password here, as well as manage account restrictions. Make sure to scroll down and click the blue Update Email Settings button after making any changes here.
  • Connect Devices – This page includes information and tools for setting up your email addresses in your mail client. Under Mail Client Manual Settings, cPanel will include the recommended settings for your incoming and outgoing server. At the bottom, there is a tool to email these recommended settings to an email address of your choosing.

For more information about managing your email accounts, we highly recommend reading cPanel’s documentation on this page, which can be found here: https://docs.cpanel.net/cpanel/email/email-accounts/
