Data Transfer Per Month

In general, any outward bound traffic from a website with the exception of email is considered to be data transfer. For example, each time a web page or image is loaded, a file is downloaded from your web site (not uploaded), or when an video or audio file is requested by a visitor, that file is downloaded and data transfer is generated. Each account type has a limited amount of data transfer usage available.

Our experience has shown that 2000MB/month will usually allot more than enough bandwidth for the average-sized website. (Web sites that might experience very high volumes of data transfer may have features such as video streaming, various audio files, e-commerce, custom applications, or popular content). Transfer used over the amount allocated will be charged additional, or you can purchase blocks of MB in advance at a more affordable price.
