Domain Registration

WEBii will handle either new domain name registration or allow you to point your existing domain name to our hosting services. For new .com,.net, .org, .info, .biz, and .us domain names, WEBii will submit each domain registration through its registration division, SiteReserve.com.

The current fee for domain registration is $35 per year for .com, .net and .org domains.  The fee is $45 per year for .biz, .info, and .us domains.

If you need to register a new domain name for the primary domain of your hosting account, or for a domain pointer, there will be an additional charge for the domain registration fees for each domain name. If we register your domain name with SiteReserve, you will be assigned a user ID and password to administer your domain name information via a web browser. Customers who wish to register a new domain name that is other than .com, .org, .net, .info, .biz, or .us must do so at an outside Registrar that is authorized to register names with those extensions.

If you already have a domain name with a Registrar other than SiteReserve, you may need to contact that Registrar or login to the dashboard they provide you to make updates to the DNS records or nameservers to “point” it to our hosting server. If you have a user id and password to administer your domain name, you may simply log into your records and update the nameserver/DNS information to our nameserver information. (You will be provided with WEBii’s nameserver information by email. If you were not sent this information, please contact us at support@webii.net. Note: It is important to perform this step at the right time, to avoid causing downtime for any existing site or email service you had at another provider.
