Domain Registration

Domain Name Registration

Webii will handle either new domain name registration or allow you to “transfer” your domain name to our hosting services at no extra charge. For new .com,.net, .org, .info, .biz, and .us domain names, Webii will submit each domain registration through its registration division, SiteReserve.com.

The current fee for domain registration is $35 per year for .com, .net and .org domains.  The fee is $45 per year for .biz, .info, and .us domains.

This service is offered free for the first year (1 year registration of primary domain name) as a free bonus with each hosting account that you order. If you need to register a new domain name for use with a Domain Pointer Service, there will be an additional charge for domain registration services. (If we register your domain name with SiteReserve, you will be assigned a user ID and password to administer your domain name information via a web browser.) Customers who wish to register a new domain name that is other than .com, .org, .net, .info, .biz, or .us must do so at an outside Registrar that is authorized to register names with those extensions (if you are registering a domain name that belongs to a country outside the US, click here for more info on non-US domains.)

If you already have a domain name with a Registrar other than SiteReserve, you may need to contact that Registrar to initiate the “transfer” to our hosting services. If you have a user id and password to administer your domain name, you may simply log into your record and update the nameserver/DNS information to our nameserver information. (You will be provided with Webii’s nameserver information by email. If you were not sent this information, please contact us at support@webii.net.
