My website has been hacked or compromised. What should I do?

If your website has been hacked or compromised, take these immediate steps:

• Change all passwords right away – For cPanel, FTP, email, and any CMS
  admin logins (WordPress, etc.).
• Restore your website from a previous backup if you have one stored. If you do not have a proper backup available, you can contact WEBii Support to request a backup restore (paid service). We can restore your site from our most recent backup to get you back online quickly.
• Review your site for vulnerabilities – outdated plugins, weak passwords, or unpatched CMS versions are the most common entry points. This may be handled with the help of website scanning tools or by a web development expert.
