/ Dynamic Page Generation
When used with new SoftCart dynamic tags, dynamic page generation
greatly reduces the time it takes to generate and maintain store
pages, allowing the merchant's store to display product information
in real-time.
Developers
will appreciate the flexibility and control offered through SoftCart's
support of dynamic tags for all SoftCart internal variables, including
the ability to customize the look and feel of the shopping cart
data elements.
On
either a Windows NT or UNIX platform, SoftCart products allow the
developer to dynamically publish data from the merchant's product
data file, making the store a real-time operation and reducing store
maintenance. Web pages can contain objects that look up data "on-the-fly"
to ensure publishing the most current information, for example,
when prices change often. A dynamic object can also include the
StateTrack™ session-ID for transaction logging and record keeping.
