Open API Architecture
SoftCart products are built with open application programming interfaces (APIs) so that SoftCart can be integrated to work with a merchant's existing Web applications, accounting system, inventory control, payment and fulfillment systems. Through full integration, a developer can create a more fully automated virtual store in which all of the store's systems work in conjunction with the merchant's brick-and-mortar retail operation.

SoftCart's Add-on Modules integrate seamlessly into SoftCart Lite and Pro and are included in SoftCart Suite.

Drop-Ship Module is an application that automatically distributes an order by SKU number to the merchants' suppliers when a purchase is made online.

SoftCart QBLink provides seamless integration between SoftCart and Intuit's QuickBooks accounting system. QBLink allows users to directly interface their web store with their QuickBooks accounting system by translating transactions from SoftCart into a single transaction log that is easily imported into QuickBooks.

Merchant Payment Center consolidates and automates the tasks of establishing a merchant bank account and accessing an Internet payment gateway for transaction processing. Merchant Payment Center's merchant account services are provided through Mercantec's partnership with Bank One.
