Mercantec developed SoftCart using a modular product architecture
that allows commerce service providers to deliver a seamless, turn-key
solution to the small merchant world-wide, while providing a framework
for integrators to approach medium sized merchants with a custom
solution.
SoftCart
products use centralized configuration files so that only one active
copy of each SoftCart product must be loaded on a server to support
multiple users (each merchant having its own valid software license
and configuration file). This simplifies the design, site set-up
and maintenance of SoftCart stores.
