General Questions
Q: Is there a charge to join the Affiliate
Program?
A: No, joining and participating in the
Affiliate Program is free! You must be approved and issued an
Affiliate id and password before you may begin earning incentives.
Q: Is there a limit to how many referrals I can
make?
A: There is no limit to how many people you can refer to our services.
You will receive credit for every hosting account that you refer as
long as the account meets the requirements that qualify it for credit.
Q: How much money can I make by referring people
to your services?
A: The possibilities are limitless! Fees paid to affiliates are based on the hosting plans that the
referred party signs up for. The more referrals you send our way, the
more incentives you earn. Please see the
Fee Chart for the current payout amounts
for each particular plan type.
Q: What type of services does the referred
person have to buy in order for me to get my Affiliate credit?
A: Referred parties may sign up for any regular Web Hosting plan or
E-commerce plan for a minimum of 3 months. Affiliate payment amount is
based on the type of hosting plan the customer orders. Affiliates
cannot earn fees on additional features, modules, or domain
registration purchases.
Q: Can I get credit if my friend signs up for
domain registration services or extra disk space?
A: No, credit will NOT be given for domain registration or add-on
features or modules. Only new unique hosting accounts can qualify for
Affiliate credit.
Q: Do I get any volume discounts if I sign up
for several accounts under my Affiliate id?
A: No discounts will be given in addition to credits issued within the
guidelines of the Affiliate Program, other than mentioned sale prices
or promotions available to Affiliate members. Volume discounts are
offered with our Reseller Program.
Q: My friend ordered an account and mentioned my
email address and name, but I didn’t get any credit. Why not?
A: You must sign up and be approved for the Affiliate Program before
you can start earning incentives.
As an Affiliate, it is
your responsibility to ensure that each order you refer mentions your
Affiliate ID in the appropriate field. Your Affiliate ID MUST be
in the order for you to receive incentives for that order.
Q: I am a Reseller with Webii. Can I sign up to
be an Affiliate too?
A: Resellers cannot qualify to be Affiliate members. Participating
members of the Reseller program are offered volume discount benefits
and are required to abide by the terms of the Reseller Contract.
Similarly, a current Affiliate member must close their Affiliate
membership in order to join the Reseller Program. For similar
questions, please read your Reseller Contract or visit the
Reseller FAQ.
Q: Every time I try to place an order using my
"Affiliate link" or the logos from the Affiliate admin, my Affiliate
ID does not show up in the order. What can I do?
A: If you are experiencing technical problems with any of the links or
images that are coded with you Affiliate ID, please contact us at
affiliate@webii.net.
Q: Who are good candidates for the Affiliate
Program?
A: Anyone who is not currently a Webii Reseller can apply to join the
Program. Especially good candidates are college students seeking some
extra cash, any individual with a popular website that allows ad or
link
placements, or IT hobbyists who encounter a large audience seeking
Internet related services.
Q:
What do I have to do after my friend's account is referred and set
up?
A: Virtually nothing! As an
affiliate, you are not required to provide technical support for your
friend's web hosting needs, as they are considered our direct
customer. As long as you ensure that each referred account includes
your specific Affiliate ID, you can relax and concentrate on acquiring
more referrals!
Q:
What happens if I join and never refer anyone
to your service? Will I be penalized?
A: There is no penalty fee associated with
Affiliates accounts that are lacking activity. However, if an
Affiliate account has been idle for some time, Webii may contact the
Affiliate to notify he/she of the account's removal from the system.
If that individual regains an interest to join the program again,
he/she may do so.
Administrative
Questions
Q: How do I log into my Admin Page?
A: Using your assigned user id and password, visit
http://affiliate.webii.net
and log in.
Q: I lost my password. Can you give it to me?
A: If you have lost your current password, we will need to reset your
password and create a new one
for you. If you need your password reset, please fill out the "Forgot
Your Password" form on the Affiliate Log In page (
http://affiliate.webii.net ).
Be sure to enter the current zip code on file for your Affiliate
account when filling out this form. We will then email your new
password to the email address we have on file for you.
After you have successfully logged in
to your Affiliate admin interface, please be sure to use the "Change
Password" option under "Affiliate Support", and choose a new password
that you can easily remember or store the new password in a safe place
for future reference.
Q: How do I know if someone has successfully
placed an order using my Affiliate id?
A: You can log into your Affiliate administrative interface and view a
list of your accounts at the bottom of the main page, beneath your
contact information.
Q: What if one of the accounts that referred me
isn’t reflected in my account history on the main Admin Page?
A: If you believe that you are due credit for a particular account
that is not listed on the main page of your Affiliate admin, please
email us with the domain name of the account and we will verify
whether such an order was placed. Please note that you may only
receive credit for accounts that were ordered with your Affiliate id
in the appropriate field.
Q: My email address or other contact information
has changed. Do I need to contact you?
A: You can update your contact information by simply logging into your
Affiliate Admin and clicking "Change Contact Info". If you
cannot login, please see the next question.
Q: I lost my password and I cannot log in to update my contact
information. My email address has also changed. How can I update all
my info and get a new password?
A:The primary method to update your contact information is to log into
your affiliate.webii.net interface. If you have lost your password and
still have access to your email address on file, you may use the
"Forgot password" feature on the log in page. In rare circumstances in which you are unable to be reached via the
email address we have on file for you, please send a fax to us with a
front and back copy of a valid id with photo, along with your new
contact information (including email address). If you have questions
about this procedure, email us at
affiliate@webii.net .
Q: In
my quarter report, one of the domain names reads "N/A" in some parts
of the table. What does this mean?
A: Your current quarter report only displays information up to the end
of the last quarter. The "Quarter", "Period Ends", and "Quarter
Payout" columns will read as "N/A" in the
table if
you added a new domain name after the end of the last quarter.
In this case, at the end of the next quarter, your new report will
show values in place of the "N/A".
OR These three areas
will also show "N/A" if the account for that domain name was cancelled
or terminated.
Q: In my quarter report, why does one of my domain
names display "$0.00" for all the payout values?
A: Keep in mind that each domain name's account must be active for at
least 60 days before it becomes eligible to payout a referral fee.
Therefore, if one of your account's did not hit it's 60th day before
the end of the quarter, it will not be paid out until the next
quarter. The table will start to reflect values in place of the $0.00
at the end of the next quarter.
